A small sealed flask 'impenetrable in her being and transparent in her appearance', Le Parfum was launched at Torch gallery in 1996 as a true collectors item. The exact contents of the bottle remains a mystery, balancing between art and fashion. One year later, Viktor & Rolf would be the first two Dutch designers to be invited to join the Paris Couture Week.
We are happy that this small yet potent bottle is now part of the current exhibition at Noordbrabants Museum, 'Asjemenou: Dutch Popular culture in 100 objects', as well as featured in their publication! (Source: Torch gallery 2020).
