Auf der SPARK Messe 2022 wurde eine Zeichung von Linus Riepler sehr stark beachtet. Diese zeigte wie die Geschichte für Moby Dick nicht besonders gut ausging.
Aus diesem Anlass schuf der für seine narrativen Objekte bekannte Künstler dieses beeindruckende Sujet, dass am besten auf einem tisch, oder Podest liegend präsentiert werden kann.

Linus Riepler graduated at the Academy of fine arts in Vienna with Gunter Damisch and Manfred Pernice and studied at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten, Antwerpen. In 2017 he received
the Klemens Bosch Award, in 2014 the Heirich Gleißner Advancement Award, and in 2013 the Thodor Körner award, and in 2022, he was nominated for the Kardinal Koenig Price.
The reconstruction of places and situations plays a significant role in the artistic works of Linus Riepler and often serves as a starting point. His large installations can be compared to
set-stage-like scenes that enable the viewer to experience them through associated or rather indicated stories. Sometimes the audience can proactively enter the installations that consist of
simple materials, found objects, self-built objects and molded sculptures. Drawings are present in almost all his work and built a whole body of work on its own.
His works have most recently been exhibited in the solo exhibition, „everything is happening at once", Bildraum 01, Vienna and the Traklhaus, Salzburg in 2022/20, a solo booth at Spark Art Fair,
2022 and "six solo shows" at Krinzinger Projekte, 2021 as well as group exhibitions such as kumanonisumu, Kamikawa, Kumano, Japan, 40.Terrakottasymposium, Galeriji Terra, Kikinda, Serbien,
2022, Apeiron – Why Austrians Now?", Radvila Palace Museum of Art, Vilnius, Latvia, House of losing control", Vienna Art Week, Wien, Kardinal König Kunstpreis – nominierte Werke" Kunstraum St.
